GreatCall says (4/2017) that “If for any reason, within 30 days from date of purchase, you are not completely satisfied with your phone or device, we will refund the activation fee, the first month’s service charge, the cost of the phone/device, plus applicable taxes, less the restocking fee, if you: Have not exceeded any Phone Usage Limitation (defined [in the full policy]); and Return the phone/device in “like new” condition, as determined by GreatCall, in the original box with all components and materials” The restocking fee is $10. The reason it refers to Phone Usage is that many devices they sell are phones. Shouldn’t matter for medical alert devices. Details and full text of policy are at https://www.greatcall.com/legal/guarantee
You can cancel anytime. There is no long term contract. If it’s a phone you bought from them and you’ve purchased add-on minutes, you will lose those. This doesn’t impact their alert devices.
They don’t appear to offer prepaid months for a discount, so the issue of refunding prepaid months doesn’t come up.Prepaid Months Refunded?
