Testimonials:
“I am so grateful for the work you do. I am a full-time caregiver for my mom. The home health nurse said they’d like her to get a medical alert of some sort. I find your website and emails the most INCREDIBLE help to me in deciding! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your opinions, your research and the amazing peace of mind you give to people like me. I just do not have time to do the necessary research on medical alerts. Thank you does not even begin to express my appreciation, Joe.” (Nancy)
And…
“You helped us choose a medical alert system that works great and saves us lots of money. I am recently retired and was looking for ways to cut our cost of living. We got the medical alert system for my husband that hooks up to our landline and he wears at all times. I am home with him most of the time but have that peace of mind when I go out. I am so glad you contacted me so I could thank you.” (Judy)

Why I built this site
It’s personal, really. One night when my grandmother was 96 years old, she tripped on the stairs inside her house. She fell to the landing and broke her hip. She couldn’t crawl to a telephone. She lay there until after lunch the next day, when a friend came by to visit.
If she had been wearing a medical alert she could have pushed a button and summoned help. An ambulance could have been at her door ten minutes later. She would have been spared those long hours of suffering, and maybe she would have had a better outcome and not spent the remaining 5 years of her life in assisted living.
I built this site because I don’t want you, or someone you love, to have to go through the same situation. I want to help cut through the confusion so you can make a good decision and buy the right system to protect yourself or your loved one. See more on the “about” page.
